Aqua Bar

This is an Aquatic pattern from (pattern 11746)

Hi, this is my first time doing this.
I work for Gold's Gym and we call this aqua class "Power Bar" We took pvc pipe the length of a power bar that you use on the floor and we filled it with sand and it works good as a power bar for water.

The first exercise we do with it in the water is squats. Put the bar behind the head, feet shoulder width apart, knees behind the toes and sqaut- 8 singles, 2 up 2 down, 3 and 1 smooth (which is 3 down up smooth) then reverse it 3 up down smooth. Then pulses (which is pulse down 3 and up smooth. Then go to arm exercises same sequence. Biceps, triceps, shoulders, etc. Triceps- I do with a narrow grip on bar and bring bar above head, elbows close to ears and drop the bar down and up behind head, then bring bar down to waist, elbows at your sides and take it down to thighs and back up in same counts as squats. I do stationary lunges, chest presses. It is a very good hour workout and the ladies needed this for muscle building. They love it.
