Intensity Combos

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 11756)

Here are a few intensity segments that I sprinkle through my step class:

Start at either short end, facing front.

Start from the top of the bench, facing the short end:

These are no-brainers, but they get the intensity up!

Split lunges: Can be done with one foot on bench - one on floor, or with both on the floor. It's just a stationary lunge, but you need a plyometric hop to switch your back foot to the front and your front foot to the back. You could take the scissor feet and just slow it down, and you would be doing split lunges.
