Pass The Weight!!

This is an Abs pattern from (pattern 11177)

A colleague showed me this move one day when I was running out of ideas for my own abdominal workout:

Participant lies on the floor with head on mat, arms alongside body. Legs are straight up to ceiling. Take a 3kg - 5kg dumbbell in one hand, lift head and shoulders from the mat, contract abs. Now pass the weight around the legs and pass to the other hand when you get to the back of the legs, you really have to squeeze the abs to reach round and collect the weight with the other hand.

Do this 15 times in one direction, then change to the other side.

Have the participant pass the weight around the largest part of the legs (ie the butt!) as this makes them reach further!
