Sonia's ABC's of Step (Routine T)

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 11232)

Horizontal step, 32 counts, self-reversing.

Combo 1

Repeat with a left lead or go to combo 2.

Combo 2

Repeat with a left lead or go to combo 3.

Combo 3

Repeat with a left lead or go to combo 4.

Combo 4

Repeat with a left lead or go to combo 5.

Combo 5

Repeat with a left lead or go to combo 1.

Choreography and notes:

*Rocking abductor lifts: Instead of tapping down on counts 4 and 8, just do another abductor lift.

**Hanging V-step: With your right side to the step, (1,2) right foot steps forward on the step and the left foot steps forward wide on the floor (for the top of the V), (3,4) right steps back to floor, left foot steps to right foot (the skinny part of the V).

***Broadway Knee: (1,2) step right, knee lift left, (3,4,5,6) walk back left, right, left and knee lift right, (7,8) walk forward to your step right and left.

****Z-step: Step touch 2x on top and 2x on the floor. (1,2) step up right near the right end, left touches in, (3,4) left steps out wide on top, right touches in, (5,6) right steps to floor wide towards the right, left touches in, (7,8) left steps out wide on the floor, right touches in. You are now near the left corner (SW) of the step.

*****Front/back knee repeater: variation of a standard knee repeater: (1,2) step right at the left corner, lift the left knee, (3,4) tap forward on the floor with the left toes, lift the left knee, (5,6) tap back on the floor with the left toes, lift the left knee, (7,8) exit left and right.
