Hot Heart Rate

This is a Step pattern from (pattern 11286)

Total 64 count self-reversing combination

NOTE** Obviously when doing the opposite side the cues for marching wide back will be to begin with the right foot and straddle up with the right foot and exiting to the right.

"Walk the Plank" walking two steps across the bench vertically and exiting off the other short end.

I break this down at the right basic portion with a cue to make a simple right-hand movement around the end of the bench to end up facing the bench vertically. We remain in a basic step pattern while I explain "walk the plank". As we are doing the jacks at the end I cue them to jump wide after their last jack into quick squats

Next cue is to have them begin a wide march - being sure to cue LEFT foot or RIGHT depending on which side we're on and then the straddle up.

Then we move through the combination again eliminating any extra basics or squats depending on how well the class is understanding the cues. This really gets their heart rates up!
