Racing Pairs

This is a Cycling pattern from (pattern 11290)

Thanks for everyone's ideas!! I'm not sure I will be able to put this "on paper" very well but here goes...

Divide class into pairs, each pair will ride together. Pair 1 will start, 15 seconds later, Pair 2 goes, 15 seconds later Pair 3 goes and so forth.

There are 4 sections to the drill, standing climb (15 seconds at level 7 or higher), seated sprint (15 seconds at level 5), and racing sprint (15 seconds out of saddle), recover (either 15 seconds or until the loop comes back to them).

We usually go through 6 times or 2 fast songs ("Drum Trip" by Rusted Root is a favorite). Example of how it starts off is below:

It is nice that everyone is doing something different and it is easy to keep going because the riders always just do what the pair they follow does.
