Kauai Low Impact - March - April

This is a Hi/Lo pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 11491)

This is the first choreography I can remember that can be done forward or backwards (almost sideways) which has made it so much fun and has also allowed me to use it for longer without my students getting bored - some of it is borrowed from here...

Do left lead from the top

Do left lead from the top

At this point rather than starting from the top you can go back to the "L" grapevine and reverse out of the combo, I didn't try this until my student's were well familiar with the choreography - had done it at least 6 - 8 times.

***Another really fun thing to do with the "L" grapevine segment is to line your students up in one long row in the center of the room (you need the right number of students or a large room) and alternate labeling them "left" or "right" then do the "L" grapevine sequence with 1/2 going one way and 1/2 the other crossing over the middle - very very cool.

Any questions on breakdowns, let me know...warm alohas to Moe, Jean and Mele...
