Turnstep has been such a lifesaver for me.
Especially in times when "instructor's block" has hit me.
This is a big thank you to everybody who has contributed
in the past.
Each combo is 32 count. Combo 1 is self-reversing.
(left foot is leading now)
(left foot is still leading)
Now you start everything from the top but on the left leg (combo 1) and the rest on the right leg (combos 2 and 3).
* to add direction you can move your grapevines in a square
** if your some participants does not like turns or high-impact moves you can simply offer the alternative of marching (hustling) forward and backwards with the knee lift, they still end on the same leg as everybody else
*** high- or low-impact kicks, or even tae-bo kicks
I did this to a up-tempo (150 bpm) version of "Hey baby" by DJ Oetzi and we ended up hand clapping, arms in the air and (ugh) singing.
