Sonia's Warm-up For Hustle Where?

This is a Warmup pattern from (pattern 11549)

You will start on the floor and transition to the step with this warm-up. I use my step mix for warm-up too so there is no stopping!

Part I

Repeat with a left lead.

Repeat the above sequence 3 more times making these changes:

On the hustles replace the toe tap with a heel dig the second time, then a knee lift the third time, then a kick the fourth time.

The hamcurls change to leg extensions (glute squeezes), then abductor lifts, then adductor lifts.

The knee step step becomes hamcurls, abductors, and kicks. Keep the squat in place to change leads.

Part II - Transition to the step

Repeat with a left lead.

If you want to keep the knee step step squat move on part II, do 4 chug chug glute squeezes. Do the knee step step squat as 8 counts: Right knee step step, right knee step step, 2 count squat (8). Repeat knee step step left. Repeat step transition on left lead.

This is the beginning of the breakdown for combo 1 of the Hustle Where? routine I submitted on 5/11/02.

Add appropriate arm movements and if you wish, insert a back warm-up before you transition to the step.
