My CD's # 45
This is a
Cycling pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 11589)
I use Adiogalaxy for all my music so I hope everyone will
be able to find something similar. Your version may not be
exactly to the minute and second as mine, but most of them you
will hear the changes in the beat so just a general time frame
will work.
- 1) Beautiful Day - U2: Warm-up
- 2) Little Secret - Melissa Ethridge: still seated flat just
increase tension.
- 3) Siamsa - Lord or the Dance: Run (standing flat) until
1:10
Seated climb 1:10 - 2:10
Standing climb 2:10 - 3:00
Seated climb (just sit don't decrease tension)
3:00 - 3:30
Standing climb 3:30 - 4:00
Run (standing flat) until end of song
- 4) Higher - Creed: Intervals. I start somewhere between a
flat tension and a hill and as the song tempo increases,
I increase cadence but not tension. Tension stays the same
unless you want to make it really challenging and add a
little turn up everytime your cadence slows.
- 5) Nowhere to Run - Martha and the Vandells? Good Morning
Vietnam soundtrack: flat
- 6) Rise up - Sundance kids (my version is an 8 minute
long remix, and is a class favorite!): Jumps on a hill
every minute or two the beat will almost stop and you will
go from seated to standing or standing to seated. I have
them look where their tension is so they won't cheat when
they go from a standing climb back to a seated climb
- 7) Elvis medley - Elvis: Jailhouse rock- run (standing
flat)until :30
Teddy bear- seated flat :30 - :45
Hound Dog- run :45 - 1:00
Don't Be Cruel- seated flat 1:00 - 1:35
Burning Love- sprint 1:35 - 2:15
Suspicious Minds- seated climb 2:15 - 3:15
standing climb 3:15 - until end
- 8) Get off of my cloud - Stones: Jumps or intervals
- 9) Switchblade - Brian Setzer: sprint to finish
- 10) Your body is a wonderland - John Mayer: Cool down
(may be a bit racy for some people)
Hope you like it! Keep sending them in! I teach a lot and I
am always looking for new songs and class ideas!
