Trina's Trials
This is a
Step pattern from

(pattern 11600)
Hi Everyone. Thanks for all your help. I am only a few
months into teaching step so this site is helpful. I hope I
can help someone too.
Self-reversing 64 counts, very easy to break down.
Combo 1
- Knees corner to corner 8
- Up and lunge center 8
- Turnstep 4
- Over the top 4
- Walk around to starting side 4
- A-step or regular over the top 4
- Repeater hamstrings corner to corner 16
- Over the top x3 12
- Glute squeeze to corner 4
Combo 2
- 2 V-steps or X-step 8
- 2 Mambos or 1 mambo with a pivot turn 8
- L-step corner to corner 16
- Turnstep with 2 knees x2 16*
- Up and lunge side x2 16
*With right lead-step up right then left like a regular
turnstep (1-2) down with the right (3) back up with the right
knee two times then step down (4-7) exit down with the left
(8) start with left lead.
I usually teach them repeating every move twice in a row
then break down the combos doing only one of each move,
depending on how the class is doing with them. I teach these
at a step 2 level.
