Hi I thought this site was gone cause I couldn't find it for a while. I was sure glad to stumble on it again. Got a lot of new ideas.
After the warm up, the students start traveling in a large circle around the pool (start with a jog). Change directions (you will feel the resistance here!) Repeat the change of directions using anything you want like knew lifts, curls, kicks (straightlegs), side steps facing the middle of the pool, etc.
Every 2 or 3 different patterns they do a "resting step". I usually have them partner up, and one student pulls another around the pool (you may also have the resting participant hold the shoulders of their partner and "ride" behind them). We do one circle around the pool & switch.
My class loves & hates this one. You REALLY feel the resistance of the water.
