Hi! I used this basic step pattern along with circuit intervals today at my lunch time class and they were still sweating in the locker room after the showers! Enjoy!
Finished product, any explanations follow
Start over with 4 basics...Now on left lead....
This should bring you back to the beginning on the left lead. I taught the class weaving in circuits between 'blocks', but it works just as well without.
*The pivot: lead foot steps to the bench in front then pushes off (pivots) turning that foot and the body to face the back, foot lifts off the bench and pushes (pivots) to turn the foot and body back to the front so you are ready to step back up on the bench. Your other foot basicly stays put through the fpivot steps, the toes just change directions.
Please email me with questions or comments!
I know, the steps are very basic and if you are like me and
have been teaching half your life it probably seems that I
have over done it with the explanations...sorry for that...I
thought even the new instructors could use this one, though, as
it is basic, so just a little more for them! : ) Happy
Teaching!
