Friday Level 3

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 12457)

Block #1

*Ski Repeater is a double kick repeater, side approach, inside leg touches the floor, back front back or high impact as a double kick repeater, ski X 4 on the floor. This move does not travel.

*X-step is 4 taps moving around the step. If you are leading right, it is: right foot taps the board (1), right foot down on floor at back of step (2), left foot taps board (body is turning)(3), left foot down on floor at back of step (4), right foot taps top of step (5), right foot down on floor at front of step (6), left foot taps top of step (body is turning) (7), left foot down on floor at front of step (8).

Block #2

*Rocking horses can be changed to 2 alternate knees, cha cha cha on top of board down down.

Block #3

*Quad stomp can be converted to a double stomp (4), up (5), march, march (6,7), knee up (8) to start the turnstep. The marches on top can become a reverse mambo on top.

*Double knee step touch is off the short end of the step. The step touch can be converted to 2 jacks.

Block #4

*Around the world is abduct straddle straddle (4), abduct exit down down (you are on the other side of the board; turn your body) (4), abduct straddle straddle (4), abduct exit down down (4) - you are back to where you started from.

*These repeaters can be anything...I do them as a switch repeater.

*5 Repeater combo is down as 2 knees, 2 abducts, 1 curl, but any combo will work.

Block #5

*Kangaroo is: up up (1, 2), straddle straddle (3, 4), up (5), knee (6), down down (7, 8). Note that this kangaroo is tapless on the exit. Intensity option is to hop the knee, then exit down down.

The whole pattern is self-reversing. Lots of intensity options, so pretty easy to follow!!
