Latin Twist!

This is a Hi/Lo pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 12238)

HIPS-you are quadruple stepping to the right while your hips sway to the LEFT. You are in a sense making convex semi-circles with your hips

BUTTERFLIES-you shuffle to the right and step back with your left foot. You shuffle to the left and step back with your right foot. (Step out with your right, step left together, step out right, step back left, step right in place) (Step out with your left, step right together, step out left, step back right, step left in place). Keep in mind that this is a high-impact move, you are in a sense galloping sideways

Right front/left front cha cha's: These moves are simply STEP STEP CHA CHA'S. As you are standing in place consider this position homebase. Step up with your right foot, step your left foot in place at homebase, step back to homebase with your right foot for a cha cha cha. It is right, left, right/left/right. Repeat the same movement with your left foot stepping forward

Right side cha cha-you step out with your right
Left side cha cha-you step out with your left

Right back cha cha-you step back with your right
Left back cha cha-you back with your left

This routine can easily last an entire 20 to 30 minute aerobic session
