Intermediate 360 degree step

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 12242)

This is a nice pattern to throw in when your class is comfortable enough to face directions other than front on a regular basis. I emphasize to listen to my cueing for the difference between an "around the world" and a "basic and around."

* "Repeater hop turn": two regular repeater knees (4), hop turn on what would have been the third knee (5,6), and tap down (7,8). Now you are on the "away" side of the bench to repeat this same single, single, repeater pattern.

** "Basic and around": leading rightt, do 1 basic step on each of the four sides of the bench. Because you are leading rightt, you will move to your left. I cue "basic right" verbally, but then show them to move to the left with my arms poining visually. Tap and change to your left lead after 8 counts and go around in the opposite direction (now right).

Enjoy!
