Cardio Kickin' It
This is a
BoxAerobics pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 12278)
These combinations should be broken down separately, run
several times, and then put together for a great cardio combo.
Following is how my class was presented it today (they all
caught on immediately):
Combo 1
- With hands in fighting position, move forward while
kicking front (right, left) (8 counts)
- Stay in place and take it to side kicks (right, left)
(8 counts)
- 4 Jacks (8 counts)
- Jump rope moving backward for 4 counts
- Jump rope in place for 4 counts
- Jack, right jab, jack, left jab
- Jack, right jab, jack, left jab
Combo 2
- Jog forward for 4
- 2 Jacks -- step, cross, kick RIGHT -- 2 jacks -- step,
cross, kick LEFT -- 2 jacks
- Jog back for 4
- 2 Jacks -- step, cross, kick RIGHT -- 2 jacks -- step,
cross, kick LEFT -- 2 jacks
When you put the combos together, you can go right from the
last 2 jacks to the front kicks moving forward. My class seemed
to get a kick out of it (no pun intended). Thanks for all the
