Seems I'm always having new people so I always do a few practices to see where everyone is with their steps. First we practice turnsteps which I call "Big Turns". Then we practice a few turns only at one end called "U-Turns or Little Tiny Turns". Then after a U-turn we can turn around the end to the other side. Called "End Turns".

- (8) 2X Big turns - right foot
- (12) Single knee lift end, then center, then end (moving forward)
- (4) 1X U-turn
- (8) 2X Big turns - left foot
- (12) Single knee lift end, then center, then end (moving forward)
- (8) 2X U-turns
- (4) End turn (now facing the back)
- (4) 1X U-turn
- (12) Single knee lift end, then center, then end (moving backwards)
- (8) 2X Big turns - right foot
- (4) 1X U-turn
- (12) Single knee left end, then enter, then end (moving backwards)
- (8) 2X Big turns - right foot
- (4) 1X U-turn
- (4) End turn

Now your facing the front agian. (you can start all over and lead with the left foot) You can repeat with ham pulls or any combination or leg lifts instead of the single knee lifts. It keeps 'em entertained and the turns are real easy because there are basically only three steps to do. They just have to listen for those three.
