Joy's Back!

This is a Step pattern from (pattern 12121)

I'm returning to teaching after a 6 year absence. Since I can't remember much of my old choreography, here's a new routine I've put together to audition with... Hope you like it! Let me know if it doesn't flow well for you.

Block 1

Block 2

*Knee waltz is: step knee up to the corner (2), step down turning toward the opposite direction of the corner that you stepped (2), mambo to that opposite corner (2), chassee/shuffle back to home position (2) - sounds harder than it is

Block 3

*Running man is: step (1), knee lift (1), step (1), knee lift (1), step off on count 5 and continue

Block 4

*Around the World is: knee up, straddle, knee up, face other corner, knee up, straddle, knee up, face other corner.

**Shooter is what you might call "split basic" or "basic lunge".

All 4 blocks should bring you back to the other lead foot, ready to go again. Along the way, I plan to demonstrate several different intensity level modifications for the various moves.
