Funky warmup #1
This is a
Warmup pattern from
www.turnstep.com.

Start with right leg
Pre-warmup
- 8 Heels front (16)
- 8 Touch to side (16)
- 8 Rear lunge (16)
- 4 Squats feet together (8)
- 2 Squats open to right (4)
- 2 Squats feet back together, still going right (4)
Redo the same combination with left leg, squats going left
Cut in half, right/left
Introduce arms
- with heels : pull from waist to shoulder, hands together
- with touch : biceps curl
- with lunge : push forward
- with squats : lift front
Dynamic stretch
- 4 Heels front (8)
- Stop on right leg for ham stretch (8)
- 4 Up and down at the waist (16)
- Stop in down position (4)
- Tap right feet (12)
- 4 Round release the back (16)
- 4 Touch to side (8)
- 4 Lift the leg (arms goes to side) (8)
Repeat
- 4 Lunge back (8)
- 4 Double lunge, leave tip on the floor to warm up calf (16)
- 1 Triple lunge with knee up, on right leg (8)
- Extend right leg to back (8)
- 4 Up and down (16)
- 4 Squats feet together (8)
- 2 Squats open to right (4)
- 2 Squats feet back together, still going right (4)
Repeat with left leg
Increasing the pace (jumping)
- 4 Kick front (8)
- 4 Lunge to side (8)
- 4 Rear lunge (8)
- 2 Squats feet together (4)
- 2 Jumping jack (4)
Switch feet
Then go forward with the kicks, turn 90 degree on the
jumping jack. Go all around (360). You should be warmed-up
after that...
