New and exciting bob and weave drill

This is a BoxAerobics pattern from (pattern 13027)

My classes and I all love this simple bobbing and weaving drill.

Securely tape or tie up a piece of string or thin rope from one end of the room to the other.

Have class line up on one end of rope.

Explain that the rope is representative of a punch or fist that you bob and weave under without bumping head on it. Move from on end of the rope to the other throwing in simple combos while bobbing and weaving under the rope ie. (jabs, hooks, or jab jab up up.) Experiment with this exercise going backwards too.

Have class run back to the start of the rope where you are waiting to show them the next combo. Keep this circle of movement going.

It's a great buns and thigh burner, plus if you have them keep running or punching while waiting for their next turn, it can be an awesome cardio.
