Shuffle -n- Tone

This is a Body Sculpting pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 13045)

This can be used as a "breather" pattern - giving your class a chance to catch their breath while still keeping the heart rate up and toning those thighs. And then you can build it up again.

Right lead - shuffle 3 and tap 1. So shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, tap - 4 count. Repeat left. Repeat 4 times each side.

Add on: adding a change in direction to the movement - keep the 4 count

Right lead- shuffle 3 tap/turn right 1/4 turn. Go right lead again - shuffle 3 tap/turn right 1/4 turn (should be facing rear of room). Go right lead again - shuffle 3 tap/turn right 1/4 turn 1. Right lead again - shuffle 3 tap/turn right 1/4 turn. Repeat 4 times left lead.

Add on: adding intensity - keep 4 count

Right lead - shuffle 3 jump/turn (with both feet up and small twist in the air) right 1/4 turn. Do this 3 more times right lead.

Then repeat 4 time left lead.

Add on: adding intensity - more toning

Right lead - shuffle 3 jump/turn (with both feet up and small twist in the air) right 1/4 turn: 4 count. 3 side squats: 12 count. Do this 3 more times right lead.

Then repeat 4 times left lead.

If you keep the basic 3 shuffle 1 tap you have limitless possibilities for adding on. Also the 3 shuffle 1 tap is the basic position - for those who don't want to jump they can do the tap movement and still be with the class.
