This is a Body Sculpting pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 13047)

I saw our gym's "Brickhouse" doing this move with a partner, and tried it in 2 of my sculpting classes. Rave reviews all around.

You'll need to get everyone to pick a partner. The first person lies on their bench in prone (face down) position. The partner places a weight between the instep of their shoes. I get folks to try a 10 or 12 pound weight on the first set. Most will want to go higher, but this feels kind of weird until you get the hang of it. Lower the weight until legs are straight, then curl to the buttocks, squeezing as you bring the weight up. Switch partners after desired number of reps. I usually count up for 4, down 4. REALLY works the the butt and hamstrings. Plus it's something different!
