Squats with Weights

This is a Body Sculpting pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 13421)

Hi...I woke up REALLY sore the day after I did this one....it WORKS!

Start with 3 sets of weights...light, medium, heavy. Will also need a step with one riser...two if you feel really strong that day!

Light weights, one in each hand.

Squat 20x
Stand on step, reverse lunge 20x right leg, 20x left.

Medium weights, same pattern

Heavy weights, same pattern

You WILL feel you butt the next day!

Always cue proper body alignment. Weight is in the heels for squats, keep abs tight at all times, knees over ankles, not the toes, shoulders back, chest lifted. On the reverse lunge, press into the front foot, keep the knee even with the ankle on the step. Body alignment is key to making the exercises effective.
