Nanc's Combo To Get That Heart Rate Goin'

This is a BoxAerobics pattern from (pattern 13436)

Just a little variation on the jab-punch-hook-uppercut combinations that we have all become so familiar with.

Replace the punch (some of you call it a cross) with a palm press (goes underneath the target's chin to flip the head back), then follow with an uppercut and a punch. Goes like this: jab-palm-uppercut-punch (1-2-3-4 right, left, right left). Option to make it easier: jab-palm-uppercut-palm. Then, the next two moves use up 2 counts each--side block right on 6 and back elbow strike right on 8. Then, immediately, start it all over again with the right jab. This is one you really do not want to alternate, since there is a lot going on anyway.

Again: jab-palm-uppercut-punch-step left-side block right-elbow comes forward-strikes back. If you do it, you can tell you start it right up again with the right jab on 1.

In case you are unfamiliar with the side block, a right side block would lunge into the left leg and the right arm would swing from the shoulder and sweep forward and then downward to block a kick or punch heading toward the lower body (usually a kick). It is a great move to really get that heart rate up, so a modification is to just keep the body up and swing the arm forward and then downward without the lunge.
