# Kickinspinney's first

This is my first time posting, so please let me know what you think! I teach basic moves, then have the students
add their own intensity.

### #1

- Right lead:
- Right jab twice, moving forward (4)
- Slip back twice, moving back (4)
- Repeat 4x
- Bob and weave 4x (8)

Reverse to left lead.

After a few, add a power move after the jabs (jab, jab-cross) and reverse each time with no bob and weave in between.

### #2

- Right lead:
- Right jab 2x (4)
- Left roundhouse (2)
- Right uppercut (2)

Reverse to left lead.

### #3

- Right lead:
- Right hook x2 (4)
- Right knee, right side kick (4)
- Right jab x2, Left cross x2 (4)
- Right jab x2, Left cross x2 (4)

Reverse

### #4

- Right lead:
- Right knee (2)
- Right front kick (2)
- Left back kick (2)
- Squat (2)

Repeat 4x, reverse to the left.

### #5

- Right lead:
- Shuffle right (4)
- Left knee, left roundhouse (4)
- Speedbag left arm only (4)
- Jumping jacks x2 (4)

Repeat!

Before every class I remind everyone that a waist high kick is considered an advanced move, and that one well
controlled kick is worth more than a hundred "flingers". I also tend to do more reps of simple patterns so everyone
can participate safely. After the first go round with the patterns, we repeat what we learned and put all of our
strength into it! I hope this helps as much as the combos I have found here!
