Position: On floor, on back, heels on a bench or floor...either one is fine

Ok, here's the difference: lift shoulders slightly and slide (not rotate, which is what your students will try to do) to the right. Your legs are in the same place, but now the center of your chest is centering your right knee (hope that makes sense) Now, from that position, do a regular crunch. I promise you, you WILL feel the difference! Repeat on the left side, just remember to cue that the torso does not rotate. The elbows stay wide, just like a regular crunch.

I move around the class to help the students, just remember unless you ask them first, don't adjust them!! Some folks just don't like to be touched!
