* Turnstep, 1 lunge, 1 jack - base move is turnstep, 1 over
the top. The counts are like this, starting left lead, step up
left (1) step up right (2) - like a turnstep - lunge down
behind step with left foot (3), left foot back on step (4),
right foot off front of step (5), left foot off front of step
beside right foot (6), 1 jack
** Grapevine L - base move described above. Left lead - the
counts are knee up (1-2), right foot on floor (3) left foot off
and on floor behind right foot (4 - that's the grapevine),
right foot steps to right of left foot and left knee comes up
(5-6), 2 cha, chas back to small end in this case (7-8). Most
of the time I use this move to go back to the opposite side to
do another. In those instances the base move is simply a
regular L-step. This is one of the most fun moves in the
world - I wish I could take credit for it!
*** 6 Point mambo - if you like one mambo on bench and one
off bench. If you don't know a 6 point mambo - email me!
I hope it all makes sense - email me if you have trouble.
