Pyramid Loops
This is a
Cycling pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 12805)
These loops can be adapted to any group of songs. Just cue
the members to increase their cadence and/or resistance in
response to the particular song at the time.
The loops are:
- Seated flat (can be used for speed or recovery)
- Standing position 2
- Jumps (controlled...no popcorn jumps!)
- Standing climb
- Seated climb
Each movement is performed for the time as follows:
- :30 seconds per move
- :45 seconds per move
- 1:00 minute per move
- 1:30 minute per move
- 2:00 minute per move
- 1:30 minute per move
- 1:00 minute per move
- :45 seconds per move
- :30 seconds per move
Finish the class with a sprint to the end and then
cool down.
My classes love this because it's challenging and they can
push themselves at their own level.
