Military Abs 2 (For Lower)

This is an Abs pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 12807)

My dad showed me this one (from when he was in the army), and it can be done with a partner.

Lay flat on your back, legs toward the ceiling.

Slowly lower your legs toward the ground and lift back up, then lower legs toward right side and lift back up, then lower legs toward left side and lift back up. That's 1.

If you would like your class to do this with a partner, then have one student on the floor and place his/her hands around the ankles of the partner. The partner then throws down the legs (hard) in any direction. It keeps the one performing the exercise on their toes because they're not sure what to expect and adds resistance. Remind them to keep their back as flat as possible.

This is really hard and I suggest a couple of sets of 15 to 25 (if you're really looking for a challenge).

By the way, great site. I am currently studying to be an aerobics instructor and cannot wait to try some of these suggestions in my classes.
