Tracy M's Advanced Step

This is a Step pattern from (pattern 12838)

Here is a routine from a very creative step choreographer, Tracy M. in Dallas, who gave me permission to post it. This mostly tapless routine contains several interesting advanced moves.

Moves are explained in-line where the explanation is short, and at the end where more detail is given. Those are enclosed in asterisks. I have given two versions of the last combo, differing mainly in the order of the moves.

Horizontal bench. Self-reversing, 32 count combos.

Combo 1

Repeat left lead.

Combo 2

Repeat left lead.

Combo 3

Repeat left lead.

Combo 4

Repeat left lead.

Combo 5

Alternate Combo 5

Repeat left lead.

Starred move explanations:
Explanations assume right lead.

*Mambo, chasse', spin; mambo chasse', spin:

The return to the bench is the same (but with left lead), except that the mambo is on the floor:

**Side lunges with full reverse turn exit:
Begin facing left/west near the left/west end.

(Note: on count 6, you should lift the right heel to allow the right foot to turn towards the back of the room, thereby removing torque on the right knee.)

***Repeater pendulum, stomp x2, push over and rock back:
