(pattern 12581)
- Basic right/left
- Alternating knees,
- Alternating kicks,
- Alternating side legs,

- Travel side leg, travel glut squeeze,
- Then travel curl, travel knee,
- Travel kick, travel side leg,
- Travel glute squeeze, travel curl.
(This ends you with a right leg lead.)
- V-step right/left
- *Y-step
- Up/up, lunge back x 4, down for jacks x 4.
- Power tap with pause on top,(=two taps for low impact)
- L-step left/right.
- Over the top x 2
- A-step x 2
- **Indecision exit right.
- Indecision exit short end (right of bench).
- Alternating glute squeeze x 3 (on short end of bench with
the left leg leading first).
- Alternating knee straddle x 2.
- Knee repeater straddle knee repeater.
- Alternating glut squeeze x 2 on end.
- Turnstep to the back side of bench.
Now left leg leads...repeat from:
- V-step left/right.
- Y-step
- Up/up, lunge back x 4, down for jacks x 4.
- Power tap with pause on top,
- L-step right/left.
- Over the top x 2 *left leg leads*
- A-step x 2
- Indecision exit left.
- Indecision exit short end (left of bench).
- Alternating glute squeeze x 3 (on short end)
- Alternating knee straddle x 2.
- Knee repeater straddle knee repeater.
- Alternating glute squeeze x 2 on end.
- Turnstep to the back side of bench.
Now right leg leads.
- Single in-step, diagonal, in-step repeater.
- One back tap (right leg taps behind).
- One reverse V, kick to right,
- Ham-curl repeat to left side of bench,
- Box step x 2 (left leg leads up),
- W-step (4 knees) around right end of bench,
- Over the top x 2, pivot over (or walk around).
Repeat with left leg lead onto bench from single in-step,
diagonal....etc.
End with four levels of lunges off bench.
1 Level = regular single easy toe taps directly to back...body stable.
2 Level = Small hop on bench with toe taps back.
3 Level = wider than 2 toe taps
4 Level = toe taps wide on each end of bench....
Be sure to control entire time and reach ends of bench toes
to floor with minimal strain....watch class closely ***it is a
long way from end to end. hold for minimum 2 minutes.
Have fun.....not to hard for the new year...remember new
members during this time may not be oriented to the step.
*(Y-step = Up wide V, walk together on top of bench then
jack out and in on top of bench and step down.)
**(Indecision = side approach up/up right leg leads, lunges
right/left, exits right...repeats to left usually)
