Four Lunge Repeater - Not For The Novice

This is a Step pattern from (pattern 12598)

I did this in my class this morning and they loved it! Not for novices however. The base pattern is a 4 knee repeater and I told them they could stay with that if they wanted. A few did choose to skip the quick lunges.

16 counts, self-reversing, tapless. The lunges take you to the front of the platform, and the 1/2 revolving door brings you home. Assume right lead.

To teach this, I started with:

* Then change the feet: 1 knee, 4 quick lunges, 1 knee. The last knee is on the opposite leg from the first knee and ends with one foot on the floor and one still on the platform. However, those who stay with the 4 knee repeater will be right with you on the stomp because it's a step, then stomp.

* Last add the direction by taking the lunges astride.

To fill out the 32 counts I used a double L stomp off each end (10) with 2 single stomps (6) also called a 6 count mambo.
