Floor/step warm up
This is a
Warmup pattern from
www.turnstep.com.

Hi there, this is my warm up I use for my step class:
#1
- Grapevine right and left with a hamcurl for no tapping (8)
- 2 Squats right and left (8)
- Kick ball change, kick ball change (4) right lead
- Mambo or pivot (4)
- Single single double hamstring curls
Repeat left lead...
#2
- Mambo, cha cha cha, mambo cha cha cha (8)
- Tap around the world * (8)
- Hamstring curl repeater
- Kick corner to corner
Repeat left lead
#3
- Swing and tap
- Lower back stretch, then face the left wall
- Calf stretch
- Hip flexor stretch with bicep curls
- Hamstring stretch, upper body moves down and up like you
do a lower back stretch
- Tap foot 8x
- Turn to front
- Swing and tap and repeat same stretches facing the right
wall
* It is a tap on bench (1), straddle bench(2) tap left foot
on bench (3) left foot on floor facing back of room (4), tap
bench with right foot (5), straddle bench (6) tap bench with
left foot(7) exit on floor with left foot(8). It's a fun dancy
move:)
