Change of Pace: Use the Floor!

This is a Step pattern from (pattern 13370)

This pattern is about 80% on the floor. Nice change of pace from so much up-up-down-down! And a good way to sneak in some hi-low on the "step-only" crowd.

When I'm using the floor for a greater percentage of class time, I also use faster music. Members have told me they appreciate the break from "stepping".

Self-reversing, 32 counts. Assume right foot lead.

Repeat from the top leading with the left.

* Ball-change 2 knee repeater: I also cue this as a "salsa repeater". This changes the lead leg twice, so there is a net effect of no leg change. I use a 3 knee repeater with a tap down as a base move.

** Ricochet option: between each knee, instead of touching the floor on the home side of the board, cross the moving leg behind the support leg and touch on the away side of the board.
