Heart rate raising cardio moves

This is an Aquatic pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 12927)

I went to a workshop this weekend in PA and learned a few new heart rate raising cardio moves and wanted to share them.

Helicopter run: start people off doing a couple of hops/bobs. Have them increase their height. Now tell them to hop up and when they are in the "air" start to run with their legs. This is easier than it sounds but it gets their heart rate up. A good number is 5-6 runs before they touch down. Can be done with arms assisting or with arms out of the water.

Ham curl hop: establish a forward and backward pattern by having people run forward then hop backwards several times. Now change the backward hop to a ham curl hop--kick those feet up to your butt. Tough arms that work well with this are flies.
