Front & Back (AGAIN !!) in St. Louis
This is a
Double Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 13233)
Double step, one in front and one behind you. :) You work from between
the benches, so when I teach this type of double step I do every other
combo on the front bench (H) only. This keeps me from getting
dizzy....LOL !!

1.
- Right lead turn/straddle & step off the short end (H) (8)
- Grapevine to the right (facing the right wall), to the outside of (A) (4)
- Left lead up & lunge x2-exit between the benches (A) (8)
- Right lead hopturn (A) (4)
- Right lead knee lift (A) (4)
- Right lead over the bench (A) (4)
Repeat left lead (A)
2.
- Right lead turnstep (4)
- Left lead grapevine (facing the back wall, your back is to the bench) (4)
- Right lead over diagonal (4)
- Left lead K-step (see Turnstep Dictionary) (4)
- Left lead V-step (4)
- Left lead hopturn (4)
- Right basic x1 (4)
- Right lead curl x1 (4)
Repeat left lead

- Right lead double knee/walk back (don't walk around the end of the bench, walk straight backwards) (8)

- Right lead knee/cross behind over the bench (step up with right foot and

- Left lead curls x3-moving around the end of the bench (12)
- Mambo inside foot x1 (4)

- Right lead turnstep (H) (4)
- Left lead grapevine (facing back wall, back is to the (H) bench) (4)
- Right lead grapevine (facing the right wall, back is to the short end

- Walk forward/walk back (8)
- Right lead hop turn (A) (4)

- Right lead mambo left corner (4)
- Left lead mambo right corner (4) *do a little cha-cha in between and after
- Right basic (4)
- Right basic/exit in front of the bench (4)
- Jack, turn over right shoulder to face the bench, and jack again (4)
- Left lead corner kicks x2 (8)
- Left lead reverse V-step (4) (step up left foot right corner, pivot
your body to the right, step your right foot up. You are now standing
wide on top the bench, facing the front wall again. Step down left,
right)
Repeat left lead
Ugh! Hope everything makes sense. I was pretty tired when I wrote
all this down. Let me know if there's any mistakes. Hope there's some
double steppers out there who can use these!! :)
