This one's nice, because you do it all on the left side for 8 counts, then all on the right side for the next 8, etc., etc.
A round strike is similar to a round kick in that you pivot on the grounded foot, but instead of extending the leg, just chamber the leg with the rounded motion coming from the grounded foot (this is where the pivot comes in). Bring the arms up to simulate grabbing the opponent's head and bring them down toward the bended knee as you execute the round strike. This move is GREAT for the oblique muscles, because I cue to lean toward the grounded foot as you chamber up the knee.
So, with that explanation, the combination goes like this:
round strike left, round kick left, back left elbow strike, left forward punch. The "target" gets
hit by all four moves, because the body is turned a quarter toward the right, so the left elbow strike
hits the target at the side of the head. Then, finish off with a left punch (most of you call it a
"cross"), and the combination alternates to the right side.
For a beginner's class, I would recommend staying on one side instead of alternating, because this can get a little confusing to some. At the same time, it's natural for the body to want to go to the right side after the left punch, but that can be left up to the instructor.
