Ashley's Cardio-kick Combos
This is a
BoxAerobics pattern from
www.turnstep.com.

My participants love these combos. After breaking them down doing each combination 3X each side -
half the class is already over!
Combo 1
- Front kick right/left/right; side kick left (8)
- Repeat 3X (24)
- Side kicks right/left (4)
- Repeat 3X (12)
- Shuffle right; 2 jumping jacks (8)
- Shuffle left; 2 jumping jacks (8)
Repeat with front kicks (left lead)
Repeat Combo 1 (3X each side)
Combo 2
- Start in right staggered stance:
- Jab right/left/right/left (8)
- Fast jabs "single-single-double" 4X (16)
- Right knee 3X; Side kick right (8)
- Squat right 2X (or slow jacks 2X) (8)
- Shuffle right/left/right (to northeast corner; then left to west wall; then right to southeast corner) (12)
- Jumping jacks 2x; slow jack (8)
You will end up in left staggered stance - repeat combination (lead with left jab)
Repeat Combo 2 (3X each side)
Combo 3
- Start in right staggered stance:
- Right knee lift 2X to the front; right front kick; left hook (8)
- Repeat 3X (24)
- "Boxer Bounce" from foot to foot (in place) 4X (8)
- Throw the right jab, while bouncing, 4X (8)
- Shuffle right to the northeast corner (optional: speedbag right arm) (4)
- Shuffle left to the southwest corner (optional: speedbag left arm) (4)
- Jumping jacks 4x - turning and end up in left staggered stance (8)
Repeat combination (lead with left knees)
Repeat Combo 3 (3X each side)
