Lead right, self-reversing - Basic way of teaching
- 1. Turn straddle (1-4)
- 2. Left ham curl, straddle (5-8) - this returns you to back of bench leading left
- 3. Single glute squeeze, right corner (9-12)
- 4. Double stomp right foot on left corner step down and single double stomp on right corner (13-20)
- 5. Single glute squeeze, left corner (21-24)
- 6. Single right abductor, exiting narrow end of the bench (25-28)
- 7. Step up left, right and straddle exit (29-32)
More advanced teaching style:
- 1. Reverse turn straddle (1-4)
- 2. Left ham curl weave over to back side and exit (5-8) - this returns you to back of bench leading left
- 3. Single glute squeeze, right corner (9-12)
- 4. Double stomp right foot on left corner step down and single double stomp on right corner (13-20) - or
Right foot on step with left foot raised in air (1), left foot on floor with right foot in air (2), bring
right foot back to step (3), left foot moves to front of bench (4), right foot straddles on right side of bench
(5), left foot stomps on right side of bench while right foot raises in the air (6), bring down right foot (7), bring down left foot (8)
- 5. Single glute squeeze, left corner (21-24)
- 6. Single right abductor, exiting narrow end of the bench (25-28)
- 7. Step up left, right and straddle exit (29-32)
