Legwork with body bar

This is a Body Sculpting pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 13629)

Equipment needed: body bar (no more than 12 pounds). Muscles worked: hamstrings, glutes, lower back and abs

SINGLE LIFTS
Stand upright - shoulders back, abs sucked in
Hold bar in right hand
Bend left leg slightly for balance
Slide right foot back behind with heel up
Place end of bar so that is resting over and above the right heel
Lift foot up and down - 2 counts of 8
Do not let foot touch floor
SWITCH legs to work other side

COMBO LIFTS
Same as above EXCEPT ...
Lift foot up, lead with the heel and press foot back, bring it back in and down
2 Counts of 8
SWITCH legs to work other side

*NOTE: you may place hand (without the bar) on the wall or a chair for balance.
