Really Fun Quad Step Patterns (I Call it multi-step)

This is a Quad Step pattern from (pattern 13663)

red home

green jail

The way I do my class is I start on home on a right lead so that we move left to red and whenever we start on the left lead we are always on jail. My patterns are all 32 count and they link together.

Patterns: part 1

1) 4 Turnsteps from home to jail (turnstep on home move to red, turnstep on red turn in move to green, turnstep on green move to jail and a turnstep on jail) now go over jail, go back over jail and go over home then a single knee on home

2) Diagonal over home and green then do 1/2 an L-step on the end of green, now go across green and jail. Do a 1/4 turn forward on jail, kick up on jail and move to home 1 basic right on home.

3) Reverse V-step, basic on home, basic over home to jail, basic on jail, turn step on jail, go over jail, diagonal jail and red

4) Hop turn straddle exit right move to green knee straddle green exit right, turnstep green move to jail turnstep jail, go over jail to home basic right on home.

If you put the first 4 patterns together you end up back at home. When I am breaking the patterns down for instance I do pattern 1 then I find a way back to home then I do pattern one and add on pattern two. Then I find a way back to home and I do pattern 1,2 and add 3. I think you get my point now.:) After I have the first four patters I do them starting on a left lead a jail so that we work both sides evenly.

Patterns: part 2

5) Turnstep home move to red, turnstep on red, go over red, T-step on red move to green, T-step on green exit right, 1 turnstep on green

6) Go over green and red, turnstep on red, turnstep on red move to home, turnstep on home, go over home to jail, 2 basic left on jail

7) Knee on jail move to home, knee on home move to green, knee on green move to red, knee straddle red with 1/2 L-step (you do a knee straddle on red and 1/2 an L-step off the end). Now go across red and home the 1/4 turn forward

8) Mambo forward on home and red (do a 4 count mambo moving the legnth of the bench on home and on red) mambo backwards on red, turnstep on red, go over red, turnstep red moving to home, turnstep on home go over home move to jail

Now you can do the second half starting on jail then you can put everything from pattern 1 together and do it starting on home then starting on jail. You will see that after you do all 8 patterns starting with a right lead on home you will end up on jail to do them all on the left lead.

I hope this makes sense if it doesnt feel free to email me

Have fun :)
