Movin' Just for Kicks
This is an
Abs pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 14488)
I like to use free standing bags during classes, but occasionally we throw some movement across the floor between sets with the bags. Here are some ideas to break up your class:
Idea #1
- (2) Front kicks: right, left
- (1) Side kick (turn so that your side kick target is in the same direction as your front kicks)
- Self-reversing. Step forward with each kick.
- Jumping jacks back to where you started, or shuffle back, or turn and work your way back the same way you came!
Idea #2
- Crescent kicks across the floor (alternate legs)
Idea #3
- Side kicks across the room. Cross over with back leg to move forward.
- When you reach the other side of the room, keep them moving with a side kick, duck (squat) drill for as long as you want! hehe. Then do it all again leading with the other leg.
I love this site! Thanks for the ideas and inspiration.
