To turn or not to turn

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 14526)

I teach fairly advanced step choreography, but when it's broken down there is no reason that you should not be able to teach it to anyone who has some stepping experience. Each block starts on right lead and is self-reversing, some moves are stolen from this site and others from masterclasses all mixed up and spiced by me! Thanks for all your input.

a)

Repeat on left side.

*Waitress:Step up right, L-step down right, left off the front of the step (please advise people to step down carefully this is not often done in step and sometimes they get their heels a little stuck), right foot steps up-5 and hop over the step-6 pivoting to face the front, step down left-7,8. Place left hand on hip and right hand holds a tray over the shoulder as you step over. Change sides when you change lead.

*Lunge series:Step up right, left 1,2 face left wall, lunge right 3,4,left and one knee up 5,6 exit left 7,8. Maybe you call this something different already!

b)

Repeat on the left lead.

c)

Do this with a lot of hip especially on block b, and they will be feeling so sexy that they won't notice how tough block c is. Have fun, be creative with it, add on spins and turns or take out to make it more simple. If you need help email me. ENJOY!
