Music and then some.

This is a Cycling pattern from (pattern 14745)

I wanted to share some thoughts with fellow cycling instructors, I have been using Rammestien (sp?) and Rob Zombie in some of my classes. (Fri a.m. senior citizens, no). They have a strong driving beat. Really forces your class to work and has a wide range of applications. Here are a couple of my favorite ideas for classes.



On Friday evenings my class likes to go longer than 45 minutes. I like to cycle them 45 minutes. and them do stretching and 3 minutes ab cycles:
Crunch for 1 minute
Obliques 1 minute
Lower abs 1 minute
Stretch and repeat.

Last item is just for fun. If any of you have worked with Mindy Mylrea you know what Im talking about. Start out at a light standing climb 1 minute. Then every one switches bikes. No adjusting just off 1 bike on to another. Doesn't sound like much fun? Have them bunny hop or duck walk ACROSS or AROUND the roomm to a new bike. My class loved it, and there is nothing funner that watching a bunch of grown ups try to duck walk.
