Chynnae's Tapless Tribute I/A Combo #1

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 14792)

My first submission! I'll confess, "tribute" is a euphemism for "borrowed". Special mentions go to Julie Gorman and Jacque Melear (I *LOVE* your 4-3-2-1 around the world!) Both combos are 64-count self-reversing.

Repeat other side

(a) Assume right lead. Up, up (1-2), then out, out (3-4) to step wide like a V-step on top of the step

(b) Cathe Friedrich move. Assume right lead. You start out with both feet wide on top of the step, like after the first two counts of a V-step. Right foot steps backwards on the floor behind the left foot sinking into a squat-like position while lifting left foot - you can add emphasis by swinging your right arm behind you in the horizontal plane while the left arm swings across your body also in the horizontal plane (1), left foot steps back on bench in original position on West end of bench; start swinging arms back the other way (2), right foot returns to original position on East end of bench (3), left foot steps backwards on the floor behind the right foot sinking into a squat-like position while lifting right foot; by this time left arm behind you in the horizontal plane while the right arm is across your body (4), right foot steps on bench in the center (5), left foot steps on bench in the center next to right foot. Your position now is like the after the first two counts of a right basic. Exit right&left (7-8)

(c) Assume right lead. Start with up, up (1-2). right foot does a front kick (3), right foot then extends to the East in a side kick (4). Keep kicks low if necessary to avoid hyperextending knee. left foot doesn't move for counts 3-4.

(d) Assume right lead. Right foot lunges back on floor behind bench like beginning of exit (1), lift right knee up (2)

(e) Assume right lead. You can march on top of your bench right/left/right/left or tick tock option: right foot steps on top of bench while swinging left leg out to the West side (1), left foot steps in center of bench while swinging right leg out to the East side (2), right foot steps on top of bench while swinging left leg out to the West side (3), left foot steps in center of bench while lifting right knee up (4), exit right&left (5-6)

(f) Jacque's combo, Turnstep pattern #14298. You can stick with base pattern, move around the world, do funky things with the repeaters... One of my favorite combos.

(g) Assume right lead. Hopturn to end up on West/short end of step facing East

(h) Up, up left&right (1-2), straddle left&right (3-4), both feet jump from floor to top of step (5), pause (6), straddle left&right (7-8). Can also do "up, up, straddle x2"

(i) Up, up left&right (1-2), left foot lunges on floor on North side of step (3), left foot returns to step (4) right foot lunges on floor on South side of step (5), right foot returns to step (6), exit left&right (7-8) on NORTH side of step to end up facing back of the room.

(j) Step insole (right, 4) is like a knee corner to corner, except you reach down in front with your right hand to touch the insole of your left foot. Step heel (left, 4) is like a hamstring curl corner to corner, except you reach behind with your left hand to touch your right heel. You are facing the back of the room the entire time.

(k) Assume right lead. You start out facing back of room with double repeater on the East end of step. After existing, walk around the West end of the step to end up home ready to start combo with left lead.
