Vanessa's Cardio Ball Routine 1
This is a
Ball pattern from

Footwork/arms with ball
- Step touch - center forward/back to tempo x 8.
- Step touch - figure eight x 8.
- Step touch - upper corners (forming a U or V pattern) x 8.
- Step touch - lower corners (forming an upside down U or V pattern) x 8.
- Shuffle right (4 counts) then hold (4 counts) - hold ball during shuffle and then reach forward towards right wall, then left wall. Use obliques to turn not just arms x 4.
- Shuffle left (4 counts) then hold (4 counts) - hold ball during shuffle and then reach forward toweards left wall, then right wall. Use obliques to turn not just arms x 4.
- Step together step, step touch (8 counts) - circle arms during step together step then half circles during step touch x 4.
- Step touch or skate in place (2 counts) - hold ball. This is to give the arms a little break
- Jump rope in place, then heel digs forward in place - hold ball. This is to give the arms a little break. Do 4/each x 4.
After teaching all this in layers, break them down in half. (ie. 8 reps down to 4, so forth). Although the footwork is basic, the entire
routine can get pretty intense. Have fun!!!
