Cycling music
This is a
Cycling pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 13957)
The best thing that I have purchase for my class is a mp3 player. This allows me to change my music very very easily. I do not have carry all the tape or CDs.
But on music in my class
- 1. Hotel California - Eagles (7:12) From the Hell Freezes Over
- 2. On the Road Again - Willie Nelson(2:32)
Song one and two are warm ups
- 3. Ride Like the Wind - Christopher Cross (4:28)
Cadence (start with 70 increase to 110)/Foot position
- 4. Stupify (Kick Ass remix) - Disturbed (5:08)
- 4A. Fall Down - Toad the Wet Sprocket (3:22)
On this song, I have the class stand up (make sure they have the seat between their legs) with a medium resistance of 5. I have them put
their left hand and in position #1 and right hand on the Resistance lever. During the song, I will tell the class to increase to their max.
There is not a set time period for riding at the max- it can be 10 to 30 seconds, just watch your class. I use this instead of the no bounce.
I feel that it puts less stress on your knees and keeps the class in a better riding postition.
- 5. The Power (5:43)
Seated hill - ride up and down with resistance
- 6. Intergalactic (3:30)
Stand hill
- 7. Sand Storm (7:28)
This have the class in standing aggestive for first 2 minutes. Then put right arm back behind them for 1 and then left arm. Then both hand in aggressive and repeat
- 8. Techno Rave Track 2 (2:44)
Sprints
- 9. Bring Me To Life (3:57)
Hills
- 10. No One Knows (4:40)
Seated cadence increase cadence to 110 on hook
- Cool Down
- 11. The Eyes of Truth (5:01)
- 12. Desert Rose (4:47)
