Pulse it out!
This is an
Abs pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 14474)
Thanks for all of the great ideas, I love this site. This is just the sequence I use, you can decide the number of reps depending on the ability of your class. Once the pulsing starts, tell your class not to stop pulsing this entire sequence, you should be able to keep pulsing even when changing positions.
- Start off with regular crunches up center, legs in bent knee position.
- Take it to a pulse up center.
- Pulse with knees at 90 degrees in air.
- Legs still in 90 degree position, reach right hand to right ankle (really reach!)
- Switch to left side.
- Back to center, knees still at 90 degrees, pulse.
- Extend legs up to ceiling, pulse up.
- Open legs, reach through them while pulsing.
- Close legs back together, pulse up.
- Slowly lower right leg so that it is extended on floor, or just above floor, pulse.
- Switch legs.
- Both legs extended out on floor, pulse.
- Back to bent knee position, pulse.
I usually end with about 5 minutes of isometric exercises.
