Double the Fun
This is a
Double Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 14379)
- Knee travel x 3
- Walk halfway around the back (or hop-turn)
- Over* home x 2; Over away (*over = over-the-top)
- Kick tap down x 1
- 2 Basics (facing east wall for right lead, 2 V-steps
- Shuffle around to the right (4 counts--to where you start left lead combos)
- 2 Jacks (low or high)
- 2 Mambos (lead foot on bench)
- 4 Side leg repeat travel
- 2 Side leg repeat travel
- Over home x 1; Over away x 1
- Broadway kick (step kick, 3 walks back and kick, 2 walks up to bench)
- 3 Ham-curl repeat straddle
- 3 Ham-curl repeat down-down (in the center of your two benches)
- Out-out-in-in x 3 (right lead right, feet on benches for out-out)
- Over (away bench for right lead, home for left)
- Wide knee straddle, wide knee down-down (between benches)
- Wide knee straddle, wide knee exit (going all one direction)
- Double A-step there and back
- 3 Glute repeat travel
- 3 Inner thigh repeat travel
- Over-the-top x 1
- Walk all the way around the other bench (lead the walk with leg nearest bench)
- Over-the-top (of the bench you just walked around)
Both steps are vertical - one is "home" and the other "away." You start on the left side of home bench with a right lead (so left lead is always on the right side of away bench).
Here are six 32-count combinations. All are right lead first and then repeat each combination on the left.
